The Blue Jays have high hopes for Francis heading into the 2025 season as he was incredible in the second half of last season and was arguably one of the best pitchers in the MLB in the last two months of the year.
The MLB Network made sure to point out just how great Francis was in a recent statement pointing out that in 13 starts last season, Francis had a 2.92 ERA and gave up only 45 hits in 77 innings pitched.
