The Toronto Blue Jays seem to be very interested in free agent outfielder Anthony Santander and it looks like his projected offer from the Blue Jays has been announced.

The Blue Jays are in need of offense this winter, despite Vladimir Guerrero Jr having an incredible season in 2024, they cannot continue to solely rely on his bat moving forward if they want to win more games in 2025.

As soon as news broke that Juan Soto signed with the New York Mets, insiders have been coming out saying that the Blue Jays have shifted their interests towards Santander.

Another insider, Tim Britton of The Athletic, stated in a recent article that he agrees that the Blue Jays could land Santander for $105 million on a five year deal.
Though Santander won't come cheap, he's likely to cost less than a quarter of what it takes to land Soto. Tim Britton of The Athletic projects the switch-hitting slugger for a five-year, $105 million contract, which isn't without its risks, but could pay off handsomely. -Roberts

The main concern with Santander is still that many believe that he will not repeat his 2024 season as he is seen as more of a consistent 30 homerun hitter than in the 40s but if he can put up the same numbers in 2025, this would be a steal for the Blue Jays.
