MLB insider Keegan Matheson was on the MLB Network this morning speaking on Vladimir Guerrero Jr's attitude at Spring Training since rejecting a contract extension from the Toronto Blue Jays.
Many fans were worried about how things will play out in Toronto between the team and Guerrero after the two parties were unable to reach a contract extension before the start of Spring Training.

MLB insider Keegan Matheson was on the MLB Network this morning and during the interview gave some insight into how Guerrero's attitude has been at Spring Training since rejecting the Blue Jays final offer.
Matheson stated that Guerrero has been his regular cheery self since camp started and stated that he is still a leader in the clubhouse despite many worrying that these negotiations would sour the locker room.

Fans are very happy to hear this news as it was worrying to think that Guerrero might return to the team with a bad mentality since the offers that he got from management were clearly too low for what he was looking for.

Hopefully this attitude continues throughout the season since if they want to have a good year in 2025 they need everyone to be at the top of their game, especially their best player in Guerrero.
