Rowdy Tellez, welcome to Seattle
Last season, Tellez made headlines when the Pittsburgh Pirates decide to DFA Tellez 4 plate appearances away from hitting a $500,000 bonus as he finished with 421 and needed 425 to hit his bonus which many fans found disgusting.
Tellez spent three and a half seasons with the Blue Jays, from 2018 until 2021 when he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Bowden Francis and Trevor Richards.
The best season Tellez had with the Blue Jays came in 2019 in his second season with the team when he hit 21 homeruns and 54 RBIs with a .227 batting average in 111 games.
Tellez had an unbelievable season in 2022 with the Brewers finishing with 35 homeruns and 89 RBIs but as his game has declined over the past two seasons, he has struggled to stay in the MLB.
