The Toronto Blue Jays missed out on Juan Soto but it looks like they have a new target in free agent Corbin Burnes as MLB insider Ken Rosenthal give big update on their offer.
MLB insider Ken Rosenthal makes big announcement regarding the Blue Jays offer to Corbin Burnes
The Blue Jays fell short once again this off-season trying to lure the top free agent on the market to Toronto as it the Soto situation seemed like a repeat of last year with Shohei Ohtani.
The good news is that this year, the market still has some serious talent and according to MLB insider Ken Rosenthal, the Blue Jays are ready to make a massive offer to free agent pitcher Corbin Burnes.
Ken Rosenthal just now on @FoulTerritoryTV :
"I expect the Blue Jays to put together a monster offer for Corbin Burnes."
If the Blue Jays are able to land Burnes plus at least one solid hitter this off-season such as Anthony Santander, missing out on Soto might end up being a blessing in disguise.
Now that Soto has officially signed, Ross Atkins needs to get to work and start signing players before it is too late as the Blue Jays have yet to make a single big league signing.
Hopefully the Blue Jays start getting some deals done before it is too late and they end up having to pick from the bottom of the barrel.
