Red Sox legend David Ortiz leaks Vladimir Guerrero's asking price

Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz has a very close relationship with Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr and in a recent interview gave his opinion on the negotiations while seeming to slip up and announce his asking price.
Blue Jays fans were crushed to find out a couple days ago that the team was unable to sign Guerrero to an extension which according to GM Ross Atkins would have made him the highest paid Blue Jays of all-time.

MLB insider Jeff Passan was recently on the Blair & Barker show in which he stated that Guerrero turned down a lot of money but he did not have specifics on exactly how much he did reject.

During a recent interview, Red Sox legend David Ortiz who is also very close with Guerrero stated that the contract he was looking for was around $585 million over 13 years which Ortiz believes he deserves.

If the Blue Jays were to agree on this type of deal they would have been paying Guerrero $45 million per season for the next 13 years which is a ton of money.
While this is a massive contract, the crazy part is that he will likely land something similar next off-season when he is a free agent.
