The Toronto Blue Jays missed out of free agent pitcher Max Fried yesterday but a recent report has them as the front runners to land pitcher Corbin Burnes.
The Blue Jays had their eyes on pitcher Max Fried this off-season as he seemed to be their number two target after Juan Soto but he ended up signing a massive 8 year deal with the New York Yankees last night.

According to reports, the Blue Jays and the Giants seem to be the two most likely teams to land Burnes with the Blue Jays having the slight upper hand after their meeting with him a few days ago went very well.
