MLB all-star game to switch back to team jerseys #mlb #bluejays

The MLB announced some big changes yesterday regarding the all-star game next year which will include the players playing in their team jerseys once again.

From the 1930's until 2019, the players invited to the MLB All-Star game always wore their home team jerseys during the all-star game until they switched it in the 2020 season which fans were not happy about.
Players will once again be wearing their team jerseys during the game starting in 2025 and will wear a special uniform during workouts and the all-star game homerun derby.
Players selected for next season's All-Star Game will wear a special All-Star uniform during Gatorade Workout Day and the T-Mobile Home Run Derby the day before the All-Star Game, though players actually competing in the Derby will wear their primary home uniforms. MLB is working with New Era on the game cap for the All-Star Game. -Castrovince

The league also announced some big changes in the teams home and away jerseys during the season as pants will have customization and font sizes on team jerseys will be bigger once again.
Additionally, changes are in the works for overall home and road team uniforms beginning next season and will include pant customization, increasing the sizing of the lettering and returning to previously used materials that the players requested. The decision to move forward with these modifications was finalized over the last few days, following collaboration between MLB, Nike, Fanatics and the Major League Baseball Players Association. The changes will begin in 2025 and will be fully implemented by the start of the 2026 season. -Castrovince

While there might be some delays on all jerseys changing for the 2025 season, y 2026, all teams will have these changes made to their jerseys.
