The Toronto Blue Jays and the Jays Care foundation has committed to reconciliation and healing as they partner with Indigenous communities for aid and unity.

The Jays Care Foundation is the official charity of the Toronto Blue Jays where they work to promote and works towards inclusion. The foundation focuses a lot on out of school programs to offer a safe place for kids in Canadian schools.
One major thing that many do not know is that the charity and the Blue Jays organization works closely with indigenous communities.
Jays Care recognizes that our organization is based Treaty 13 lands, we also recognize that we are located on the traditional home of many other nations including the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Chippewa, and Wendat Peoples. We are honored to work with and learn from communities all across these unceded lands throughout Canada.

In May of this year the Jays helped upgrade and build a new baseball diamond for the community of Curve Lake First Nation reserve in Ontario's Kawartha district. the Jays' charity contributed $100,000 towards improving the Mary Dorothy Jacobs Memorial Park's diamond.
Jays Care remains steadfast in our pursuit of meaningful reconciliation. We are honored to work alongside Indigenous partners on programs focused on promoting healing, unity, connection, and belonging. 🧡 #EveryChildMatters
