The Blue Jays are well known in Canada for doing their part in helping the country as much as they can as their foundation Jays Care in involved in over 100 different charities across the country, helping in all kinds of ways.
Major league teams have a massive platform which they must use in this way as the Blue Jays do since they have the capabilities to help those in need and as their community supports them, they should always do the same.
While the team always make sure to do their part, players such as pitcher Jose Berrios has taken it upon himself to go the extra mile and has opened his own organization linked to Jays Care to help within the community.
This shows just how special of an organization the Blue Jays are as not many teams have the organization and it's players stepping up to this level on a yearly basis.
This is part of the reason fans are so proud to cheer on the Blue Jays ever year even when the team has a disappointing season like in 2024, the fans are proud to cheer on such a great team, on and off the field.
