Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a home run last night while the Blue Jays were down by seven runs, and once he shushed the Yankees Stadium crowd, it was clear that boos would soon follow.

Earlier in the game, Kevin Gausman threw a stinker as he allowed five runs in just more than one inning. By the end of the sixth inning, the Blue Jays were down 9-2, according to MLB Stats. They were in desperate need of a spark, and they got it.
Below, you can see that Guerrero Jr. hit a home run in the seventh inning. Subsequently, he shushed the crowd despite the fact his team was still down six runs. This led to a chorus of boos from the fans at Yankees Stadium. Furthermore, on Twitter, some fans had a lot of criticisms of Vlad. One person even said: "That's a terrible look . good god."

With this most recent loss, the Blue Jays are now 4-5 on the season. However, their offense was still impressive despite the loss. This is the first time this season where they have lost a game by less than four runs. Perhaps this is a good sign of things to come, even if they may have added to the loss column.
The Blue Jays will look at avenge their loss as they take on the New York Yankees again today. The game starts at 1:30 p.m.Eastern Standard Time.
