The Toronto Blue Jays look to be finally closing in on a deal with Vladimir Guerrero Jr according to reports

The Toronto Blue Jays have been trying to come to an agreement on a contract extension with their superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr for the entire off-season and it looks like a deal might finally happen.
The Blue Jays seem to be closing in on signing Vladimir Guerrero Jr according to reports
The rumors surrounding
Guerrero have been all over the place this off-season which some stating that he will for sure be entering free agency while others have stated that he will be staying.
MLB insider Hector Gomez, mentioned online that from what he is hearing, the Blue Jays will be signing Guerrero to an extension very soon.
The wait will soon be over...
A fan account online has been posting a videos of Guerrero homeruns everyday in hopes that the Blue Jays will sign Guerrero which is where Gomes commented saying that a signing will soon take place.

While nothing is set in stone just yet, fans are hoping that the Blue Jays are able to finally close this deal as letting go of Guerrero would definitely crush the fan base.
While some might find that an average salary of $40 million for Guerrero is a lot, if they end up pushing the term to 15 years making his salary $32 million which would make a lot more sense.
At this point all fans can do is cross their fingers and hope Ross Atkins get a deal done.
