Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman recently went on Sportsnet 590 The Fan to speak on the upcoming season and spoke of his excitement of Max Scherzer joining the team.
The Blue Jays officially signed Max Scherzer yesterday to a one year $15.5$ million deal yesterday after he passed his physical and everyone in Toronto seems quite excited to see what he can do, especially his new teammates.

Gausman was on Sportsnet 590 the Fan with Jeff Blair and Kevin Barker recently and spoke on the changes he has made to his game for the upcoming season while also touching on his excitement to have Scherzer join the team.
The Blue Jays ace stated that Scherzer will be a great addition because he has the mentality of a bulldog on the mound and pitches like a closer as a starting pitcher.

Gausman spoke on his goal for the 2025 season as well, stating that he is looking at adding a cutter to his pitch mix since his slider has acted as a cutter but he believes adding to his arsenal can be extremely helpful.
