Blue Jays pitcher Jeff Hoffman shoulder injury seems to be worse than originally assumed
A few days ago news came out that the Baltimore Orioles had a $40 million offer to sign Hoffman but the deal fell through after Hoffman's physical showed some issues in his shoulder on his throwing arm.

Baltimore backed out of the deal after Hoffman's physical revealed damage in his throwing shoulder
According to reports, it looks like the Orioles were not the only team to pass on Hoffman as the Atlanta Braves also had a solid deal with the veteran pitcher but it fell through when he failed his phycial.

This is not a good look for the Blue Jays who are now committed to $11 million per year over the next three seasons to a pitcher with a deteriorating shoulder.
While a healthy Hoffman will make a big difference in the Blue Jays bullpen, many are worried that this might be another similar situation as to what took place with Kirby Yates a few years ago.
Hopefully everything works out with Hoffman but these updates do not look good.
