Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr had an unbelievable 2024 season filled with award and has now been named by the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame the Tip O'Neill award winner.

Guerrero is coming off an unbelievable season in 2024 which is why fans are so eager for the Blue Jays to sign him to a contract extension despite rumors that they might trade him this winter.

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame announced this week that Montreal born Vladimir Guerrero Jr was named the winner of the Tip O'Neill award for best Canadian baseball player.

The Hall of Fame that many player were considered for the award this past season but that Guerrero's season was too incredible to look elsewhere which is why he was named the winner.
«There were several outstanding candidates for this year's Tip O'Neill Award, but we are proud to recognize Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for his All-Star and Silver Slugger award-winning season with the Toronto Blue Jays,» said Jeremy Diamond, chair of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame's board of directors, in a statement. «When you look at his overall numbers, he was not only the best Canadian-born hitter in 2024, but he was one of the elite players in all of Major League Baseball.»

This is one more reason why the Blue Jays should offer Guerrero a contract extension as he is currently the best Canadian baseball player in the world.
