Sam Connon Of Sports Illustrated has projected that the recently acquired three-time Golden Glove winner Andres Gimenez will thrive with the Toronto Blue Jays after being acquired from the Cleveland Guardians in December.

The Jays ended up sending future prospect Spencer Horwitz over to Cleveland to submit the deal. The Jays also acquired $98.9 million along with the term of five years remaining on Gimenez's contract.

FanGraphs shows a strong projector for Gimenez

According to this model from Fangraphs, it appears that Gimenez will have a strong season with the Blue Jays and be an integral part of their offense.
Using that model, Giménez is projected to bat .267 with 13 home runs, 27 doubles, 70 RBI, 26 stolen bases and a .723 OPS in 2025. Toronto is projected to get a 3.9 fWAR at second base this season, carried entirely by Giménez. - Sam Connon Sports Illustrated

Blue Jays would love to see numbers rebound for Gimenez

Gimenez would love to get his OPS plus back over 100 as he will have several players including George Springer, Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Alejandro Kirk who will be ahead of him in the lineup.
Many feel that general manager Ross Atkins and president mark Shapiro need to do more of to this team to make it more competitive.
This addition of Gimenez will help the Blue Jays defensively as the team up the middle wasn't the greatest last season.
Meanwhile, Blue Jays management continues to work their efforts to strengthen the team which included an interview with Japanese right hand pitcher Roki Sasaki yesterday as the team remains on the short list along with the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres.
Hopefully they were strong enough to convince him to come to Toronto rather then to Southern California.
