Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Jake Marisnick has signed a deal a new deal with the Atlanta Braves as he re-joins Alex Anthopoulos, the GM that drafted him back in 2009.
The market still has a few former Blue Jays looking for deals such as Justin Tuner and Kevin Pillar but many have landed new deals this off-season as players and even some such as Daniel Vogelbach as a coach.
The Atlanta Braves announced this afternoon that they have signed centerfielder Jake Marisnick to a minor league deal which will also included a non-roster Spring Training invitation.

The Braves have added Jake Marisnick as a non-roster invitee. The outfielder is in camp.
Marisnick did not play at all in the majors last season as he spent 117 games in the minors finishing the season with 12 homeruns, 33 RBIs, a .286 batting average and .371 on base percentage.
The Blue Jays selected Marisnick in the third round of the 2009 MLB draft but never got to play a game for them in the majors as he was traded in 2012 to the Miami Marlins as part of the trade that brought Mark Buehrle to Toronto.
Marisnick has not played in the majors since 2023 where he played 46 games across 3 different teams but is looking to make a return this season with the Braves.
