ESPN has been in hot water over the last 12 hours after fans do not understand why they continue to give no attention to the World Series on social media.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees had one of the most incredible game 1's in World Series history last night as it went into extra innings with a walk off grand slam by Freddie Freeman in extra innings.
ESPN in hot water after not posting about the World Series and focusing on the NBA
Despite last night being game 1 of the World Series, ESPN decided to only post about the NBA which posts on team's warmups and play from each game but failed to post any from the World Series.

Up until about midnight, the only post they had made regarding Freddie Freeman's walk off grand slam was a reaction from Phoenix Suns shooting guard pointing out on the bench during his game how nice of a hit it was.
"Oh he spanked it for game ... Freddie Freeman ... OOOOOO."

This is ESPN's only tweet about the World Series game
Fans were quick to point out how ridiculous it is that a regular Friday night in the NBA was more posted about that the first game of the World Series.
ESPN seem to get the message following this bashing only as they finally posted
Freeman's Grand Slam just before midnight which was actually just a repost from Sportscenter.

Clearly ESPN needs to do a better job of covering the MLB as this level of content during the biggest series of the year is absolutely embarrassing.
