The 26 year old had a great season at the plate, regardless of the fact that he was a rookie despite dealing with a few struggles defensively which is why he is deserving of this award.
In 97 during the 2024 season, Horwitz had a .265 batting average with a .357 on base percentage and .433 slugging percentage to go along with 40 RBIs and 14 homeruns.

Despite this being his rookie season, Horwitz did manage to get into 15 games last season with the Blue Jays but only found a full time roster spot in 2024 which he took and decided to run with.
