Toronto Blue Jays fans went to the X platform and voiced their disappointment and anger towards losing out on Japanese pitcher Roki Sasaki's decision to join the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Blue Jays made it to the final two in the Sasaki sweepstakes but were left standing on the mound as this is the latest string of players who almost have joined the organization but have chosen to go elsewhere which includes Juan Soto, Shohei Ohtani, Corbin Burnes and Teoscar Hernandez.

Blue Jays fans share their anger with social media

It became apparent that Blue Jays fans were just gutted by the idea that they lost out to another star who would have made the team that much more competitive.
The Sasaki thing is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I can't take this anymore. It's unfair. Unbelievably, cruelly unfair. As a #BlueJays fan, I've never been this unhappy in 40 years.
Many Blue Jays fans feel that it's the current management that can't seem to get the job done when it comes to landing free agents or rookies who would like to sign with teams.
The Blue Jays were once a team that many players wanted to go to when former general manager Alex Anthopoulos was running the organization along with Paul Beeston.
Shoutout to the haters who said the Blue Jays couldn't land Roki Sasaki. You were right. Just great.

Atkins and Shapiro struggling with this offseason

Since their departure, the Blue Jays have not been anywhere close to competitive like they were back in the 2010's and both Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro seemed to struggle enclosing the deals as players have expressed desire to come to Toronto but can't seem to follow through.
«When Roki Sasaki signs with Dodgers, it's gonna crush Blue Jays fans.» Brother, do you know how dead inside we already are? We haven't felt anything in years. You can't kill what's already dead.

It remains to be seen on what the remainder of the offseason will look like for the Blue Jays as many reports continued to suggest the Blue Jays are in the mix for other free agents.
Until Blue Jays fans see a major change in the lineup, it's likely people will think that the team is not competitive enough or attractive enough for players to come to the Rogers Center.
