Vladimir Guerrero Jr finally speaks on wanting to join the New York Yankees

Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr was recently asked if he would consider playing for the New York Yankees in which he gave quite the surprising answer.
A couple days ago, fans noticed on Instagram that Guerrero had liked an edited picture a fan made of him in a Yankees uniform which started the speculation regarding Guerrero wanting to join the Yankees.

After yesterday's game against the Yankees, Guerrero was asked about if the Yankees had a chance at signing him since he has made comments in the past about never wanting to play there.
During the interview, Guerrero stated he will be looking at all 30 teams in free agency and that regardless of what was said in the past, the Yankees also have a shot at signing him next off-season.

This is awful news to hear for Blue Jays fans as this means that Toronto will be competing with every team in the MLB next off-season to try and bring Guerrero back.
The good news is that Guerrero did state that he would love to stay with the Blue Jays as that is still his main goal but there is still a lot of worries since they will have a lot of competition trying to keep him.

This is an unfortunate turn of events because if Ross Atkins simply made him the right offer, Guerrero would have been locked down in Toronto for the next 10+ years.
