MLB insider rips into Vladimir Guerrero Jr over recent comments

MLB insider Josh Goldberg had some interesting words for Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr after his recent comments on upcoming free agency and the New York Yankees.
In a recent interview, Guerrero announced that he will be giving all 30 MLB teams a chance in free agency next year and when asked if the door was closed on the Yankees he basically stated that he would be willing to go there.

News came out yesterday that Guerrero stated during an interview that he would be looking at all 30 teams next off-season but his hopes are to return to Toronto but is not taking any team off the board ahead of negotiations.

MLB insider Josh Goldberg replied to the post talking about this stating that despite Guerrero stating that he doesn't want his negotiations being a distraction this season, he thought making comments like that during Spring Training was a strange way of going about it.

The reason Guerrero decided to stop his negotiations with the Blue Jays on the first day of Spring Training was because he said he did not want to distract the team and wanted to focus on winning.
If this was truly his plan, liking a post of his in a New York Yankees jersey and talking about his upcoming free agency in his first interview at Spring Training was definitely a strange way of going about it.
While fans still want Guerrero to return to Toronto next season, making comments like this is certainly not helping his current situation with Blue Jays fans.
