I am all in on Orelvis Martinez in 2025
Back in early June, the NLB suspended Martinez for 80-games for violating their 'Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program', where he was quickly optioned to the organizations spring training complex. His suspension does not officaly finish until Monday, September 30th, but was still granted the ability to go down to Triple-A and train and play for the Buffalo Bisons.
In 74 games with triple-A Buffalo this season, Martinez achieved a slash line of .267/.346/.523 with 17 long balls. He only appeared in one full game for the Blue Jays before his surprise suspension was announced, he went 1-3 with a single.
Regardless of his suspension, the team is still all in on his development in hopes he can help the Blue Jays reach the next level in the 2025 MLB season.
What Do you think, will the Blue Jays have him on their opening day roster next year? Or will he have to go prove himself once again in the Triple-A?
