Lukes has impressed since getting the call to the big leagues and shows sings of being a major star in the future. In 21 games he has hit .303 with an OBP of .321, flugging .447 and with a well above OPS of .818. With his first home run coming in the 8-1 loss to the MArlins, he launched his first career home run to add to his already impressive offensive totals. With the long ball, he now has 10 RBI's, 1 stolen base and four doubles.
The 29-year-old outfielder has been grinding in the minors to try and crack the lineup in the Major Leagues. He was drafted back in 2015 by the then Cleveland Indians (Now Guardians), and was able to finally get his shot last season. He dominated in triple-A for the Buffalo Bisons, he hit a slash line of .333/.403/.469, adding seven doubles, seven home runs, and 31 RBIs with an .871 OPS.
