Ross Atkins has failed once again as another top free agent target wants to part in the Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays seem to be beyond desperate to land a top free agent this winter but continue Ross Atkins continues to fail as free agent Alex Bregman does not want to come either.
The Blue Jays have seen multiple free agent targets such as Max Fried, Corbin Burnes and Juan Soto all decide to sign elsewhere despite the Blue Jays making them a sizeable offer.

The Blue Jays top target in free agency as of right now seems to be outfielder Anthony Santander but according to reports they are also very interested in third baseman Alex Bregman.
Unfortunately, according to multiple sources, Bregman wants not part in coming to Toronto despite Atkins seeing him as a perfect fit as he wants to sign with the DEtroit Tigers.
Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press believes Bregman favors the Tigers over other suitors, such as the Blue Jays or Red Sox.
"Bregman, from what I understand, wants to play for the Tigers. (If value aligns), Bregman is going to be a Tiger," Petzold said. -Powell

Bregman would make a ton of sense for the Blue Jays even if they land Santander since he brings offense to the table and could be a great option if they are serious about trading away Bo Bichette.
This bit of information, paired with the Blue Jays seemingly moving on to their backup plan in former Baltimore Orioles slugger Anthony Santander, would suggest Toronto is out on Bregman for now. -Powell
The Blue Jays cannot seem to catch a break this off-season with multiple free agents refusing to come to Toronto despite the team making them massive offers which ahs many questioning management.
Clearly ownership has to start looking at Atkins and Mark Shapiro as the main problem here since it is their job to convince players to sign.
