News just broke that former Toronto Blue Jays infielder Cavan Biggio has found himself a new home as he has signed with the Kansas City Royals.

The Royals sign former Blue Jays infielder Cavan Biggio
Biggio had a tough run in 2024 as he was dropped by the Blue Jays then picked up by the Los Angeles Dodgers then released again, ended up with the Giants in San Francisco then was trade to the Atlanta Braves where he finished the season.
News just broke this afternoon that Kansas City Royals have now decided to give Biggio a chance as they have signed him to a minor league deal but there has been no update on if it includes a major league Spring Training invitation.
The Royals announced that they have signed Cavan Biggio to a minor league deal
The Royals have signed utility-man Cavan Biggio to a Minor League Contract. Biggio has experience at every defensive position except catcher.
Hopefully Biggio can find a way back to the major leagues with the Royals after a disaster of a 2024 season but he certainly has a big hill to climb if he plans on doing that.
Biggio's best season came in his rookie year with the Blue Jays were he finished with 16 homeruns and 48 RBIs but has struggled with injuries and lack of offense since that season.
Fans in Toronto were sad to see him go last season even if it seemed like a must with the way he was playing.
