New hire Kevin Kiermaier seems to have big plans for the Toronto Blue Jays

Toronto Blue Jays newest addition to the their coaching staff former outfielder Kevin Kiermaier seems to have some high hopes for his new position.
The Blue Jays announced last week that they have hired Kiermaier as a special assistant/outfielder specialist for the 2025 season and he will be with the team at Spring Training.

The former Blue Jays outfielder did not spend a lot of time in Toronto but made it clear that he absolutely loves the city which is why he stated that after retiring he wanted to return to the team as a coach.Kiermaier recently went on the MLB Network and spoke of his new role with the Blue Jays stating that his main goal is to just pass on his knowledge and he believes that the Blue Jays have a really strong future ahead that he wants to be apart of.
"Outfield is my thing, and I just want to teach it to the next group of players coming up."

While Kiermaier won't be able to help the young defenders much with their hitting as he was never really known for that, he is going to be a massive help defensively as he has won four Gold Glove award throughout his career.
As a hitter, Kiermaier had a lifetime .246 average. His best offensive seasons came at the beginning of his career when he hit .263 in both 2014 and 2015. One of the best defenders of his era, he won four Gold Glove Awards, including one with the Blue Jays in the 2023 campaign. -Farkas
