Toronto Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins recently made some interesting comments regarding former outfielder Teoscar Hernandez possibly returning as a free agent.

The Blue Jays have made it clear that their main priority this off-season is getting a starting pitcher and adding offense to their lineup which is something even manager John Schneider has vocalized.

Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins speaks on free agent Teoscar Hernandez returning

Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins was asked directly about the possibility of having outfielder Teoscar Hernandez return to Toronto as a free agent this off-season as they are looking for some offensive help.
Atkins stated that the Blue Jays are very interested in a reunion with Hernandez since the reasoning is clear since he fits their needs perfectly but they are far from the only team interested.
Ross Atkins said the Blue Jays "absolutely" have interest in a reunion with Teoscar Hernandez
Toronto's GM went onto to add that Hernandez is also a great teammate, person and player which is why the team has so much interest in him.
"Teo is a great teammate, great person, great player," Atkins said Monday at the Winter Meetings in Dallas. "Certainly could be a piece to the solution." -Atkins

If the Blue Jays are truly that interested in Hernandez, they should make him a solid offer as quickly as possible since he has been getting attention from multiple teams this winter from the Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and others.
The toughest part of all of this will be trying to pull him away from Los Angeles as he has stated on multiple occasions his main goal this winter is to return to the Dodgers.
