Jose Berrios makes remarkable statement to young Blue Jay fans

Blue Jays pitcher Jose Berrios is a great player but has proved time and time again to be an even better person with all of his charity work.
Berrios recently sat down with Keegan Matheson to speak of expanding his charity work even more as he wants to get young kids even more involved in baseball. The Blue Jays pitcher spoke of how he remembers being a kid and getting the opportunity to play baseball and wants to give that same opportunity to other kids.
«I remember when I was that age and had the opportunity to play this beautiful game. Now, I want to give the opportunity to those kids."

The Jays pitcher added that he and his family see Toronto as their second home which is why he wants to give back to the community as much as possible.
«I've been focused on helping young kids and families, and now, thank god, I am blessed to be able to give more and more every year,» Berr�os said. «I always have it in my mind that I am blessed, so we can bless more people. Now, we have a chance to give back and bless people here in Canada, in Toronto. This city and this country, my family and I call it our second home.»
Berrios' El Dream foundation will now work side by side with the Jays Care Foundation to help less fortunate kids in the Toronto area have the chance to play baseball and fall in love with the game the same way he has.
