New Blue Jays pitching prospect, Jake Bloss just finished his 2nd start with the Buffalo Bisons of Triple-A and put on quite the performance.
He went 4 innings, struck out 3, gave up only 1 hit and 0 earned runs.
It was a fastball-heavy night for Bloss, who used his four-seamer nearly half the time, averaging 93.9 m.p.h. and topping out at 95.5. He recorded two of his three punchouts via his heater, with his slider responsible for the other.
Jake Bloss made his second start in AAA for Buffalo tonight:
Bloss came over in the trade that sent starting pitcher, Yusei Kikuchi to the Houston Astros. Bloss was seen a a throw in in the trade package, but ever since he has been with the Blue Jays organization, he has really impressed.
