The Blue Jays announced this morning the signing of second baseman Gabriel Cancel to a minor league deal.
Cancel will be beginning his time in the Blue Jays organization with the Bisons as he was assigned there after signing.

The 29 year old signed with the Royals back in 2015 but was unable to get a call to the majors during his time with the Royals. He most recently was playing for independent baseball team the Charleston Dirty Birds. In 53 games this season, Cancel had a .282 batting average with 39 RBIs and 17 homeruns.
