Los Angeles superstar Shohei Ohtani left game 2 of the World Series due to a shoulder injury and his status for game 3 has been confirmed by manager Dave Roberts.

During a press conference this afternoon, Roberts told reporters that Ohtani has been cleared to play game 3 of the World Series after suffering a shoulder injury in game 2. He stated that he would be available for game 3 but the decision is his and if he feels ready to play.

"He's in a great spot. He's playing tomorrow," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told ESPN's Karl Ravech via text.
"If he feels good enough to go, I see no reason why he wouldn't be in [the lineup]."

Since Ohtani is a massive competitor, he will likely been in the lineup for game of 3 of the World Series in New York tomorrow night since the team doctors have cleared him even if he still has some slight discomfort.
This is great news for the Dodgers as their best player will not be missing any time from the lineup even though many originally thought the injury would be long term.
