The Toronto Blue Jays are all all currently sitting at home watching the post season like the rest of us while many of their former players are still in it such as Marcus Stroman and Kevin Kiermaier.

Marcus Stroman has been gone from Toronto for quite some time but still had a major impact on the Blue Jays during his time here. Despite being a big time pitcher for many years, Stroman is not the pitcher he once was which is why the New York Yankees have decided to leave him off the 26 man roster for their ALDS matchup against the Kansa City Royals.
Marcus Stroman was left off the American League East-winning New York Yankees as they are set to play the Kansas City Royals in the Divisional Series. Originally drafted by the Jays in 2012, Stroman spent parts of six good seasons with the Jays before he was moved to the New York Mets before the 2019 trade deadline. -Delaney

While Stroman was left off the roster, former Blue Jays reliever Tim Mayza was on it for game 1.
Another former Blue Jays player who was left off the 26 man roster for his team current post season match up is Kevin Kiermaier who was traded to Los Angeles at the trade deadline in search of a World Series before he retires. The move comes as less of a surprise since he has been quite awful this season.

Shortly before the trade deadline, the Blue Jays sent outfielder Kevin Kiermaier to the Los Angeles Dodgers for left-handed pitcher Ryan Yarbrough. Kiermaier is a defensive specialist with speed but struggled with the National League West division winners. In turn, he was left off the team's playoff roster. -Delaney
