Blue Jays pitcher Jeff Hoffman speaks on his failed physicals with the Orioles and Braves
News came out a few days ago that Hoffman had deals in place with both the Braves and Orioles but both were pulled off the table after Hoffman failed his physical due to issues in his throwing shoulder.
Hoffman finally touched on the subject stating that he was surprised that he was flagged during the MRI and does not agree with the results but that regardless he is happy to be back with the Blue Jays.
Jeff Hoffman called his flagged physicals (results of MRIs) a surprise and he did not agree with them.
He added: «The Blue Jays see me for what I am. I'd rather be in a place like that anyways.» #BlueJays
During the conference call Hoffman added his shoulder is an non-issue and that he feels great while having zero worries about the current state of his shoulder.
Speaking to Toronto media on a conference call, Jeff Hoffman said he feels fully healthy & considers his shoulder a «non-issue.»
«It's not something I'm concerned about.»
Hoffman says he had in-person physicals with BAL & ATL. After MRIs, those teams decided to back away.
This is great to hear since many believed that this could end up being an issue down the line for the Blue Jays if Hoffman's shoulder really was deteriorating.
