Toronto Blue Jays veteran George Springer has been on fire to start the season and has put the entire league on notice that he is back.
The Blue Jays are only 8 games into the season but have looked very good so far as they currently sit in second in the American League East behind the New York Yankees.

Throughout Spring Training fans were worried that Springer would be even worse at the plate than he was last year as he was by far there worst hitter throughout camp but has since completely turned things around.
Springer has been one of the Blue Jays best hitters to start the season as he currently has a .429 batting average as he has gone 9 for 21 so far with a 1.187 OPS.
Not only is Springer getting solid hits, but, both his counting and advanced stats are making it seem like his production is more than just a flash in the pan. His batting average is up to .429 (9-for-21) with an OPS of 1.187. While both of those numbers are great, they'll go down as the season goes on. -Dionis
This is a massive step up from the last two seasons as he has had a combined .240 batting average over the last two season which has fans hoping the good time continues.
That's a far cry from the last two years when he combined to hit .240 with a OPS+ of 98 in 299 games. He hit .267 with 25 home runs in 2022 (his first year with Toronto), which helped him earn the fourth All-Star nod of his career. -Dionis
While the sample size is still very small since the Blue Jays have only played 8 games this season, Springer looks like a completely different player so far this season.
The Blue Jays have high hopes for the 2025 season and they will need players like Andres Gimenez and Springer to continue to perform at the plate if they plan on going deep in the playoffs.
It will exciting to see how Springer continues to play this season and if he will be able to continue playing at this incredible pace.
