The Los Angeles Dodgers are now tied at 1-1 in the National League Championship Series with the New York Mets after losing game 2 and former Toronto Blue Jay Kevin Kiermaier might finally get a shot at playing.
The Toronto Blue Jays traded outfielder Kevin
Kiermaier to the Dodgers at the trade deadline so that he can have one last chance at a World Series ring before retiring at the end of the season.

The former Blue Jay did not get into the lineup in game 1 or 2 against the Mets but after a tough 7-3 loss last night in Los Angeles, Kiermaier might get a shot at playing in game 3 as the Dodgers look to switch things up.

The Dodgers to do have an easy lineup to crack as they have a ton of star players but Kiermaier was once regardless as one of the best defensive outfielder in baseball which is why he might get a chance.
Even if the Dodgers decided to keep Kiermaier in the dugout for the rest of the series and they end up winning the World Series without him having played an inning, he will still receive a World Series ring since he played for them during the regular season.
