Must read on Blue Jays Insider
Michael Peterson put up a 2.29 FIP / 28.8% K-BB% over 33 AAA innings with LAD but completely shit the bed in the majors, could be an interesting arm.
Peterson might be an interesting option for the Blue Jays bullpen in 2025 since he put up some excellent numbers in Triple-A last season but in his short time in the majors, he struggled immensely.
Genisis Cabrera was waived by the Toronto Blue Jays. After clearing waivers he elected free agency.
Blue Jays bullpen gets even worse.
I did not see this one coming
Frias being placed on waivers does not come as a surprise since he had very rough seasons last year and as the Blue Jays look to improve their bullpen, getting rid of him was a must. Cabrera on the other hand had a decent year in Toronto which most thought he would surely be returning in 20255.
Hopefully Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins knows what he is doing as the Blue Jays will need to do a lot if they plan on truly competing next season and avoiding another disappointing season.
