It was a slow start for Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero junior at the beginning of this season and it appears that he is improving his offensive game since the signing of his new deal.
Since signing his 14-year $500 million contract, the 26-year-old first baseman managed to hit his first home run of the season against the Braves after going through a long home run drought that stretched into last year's final weeks.

Blue Jays hope to rebound against Astros after tough series with Mariners
after winning their first game against the Mariners, the Blue Jays dropped their next two with losses of 8-4 and 8-3.
Former Blue Jays Slugger Rowdy Tellez wreaked havoc on Blue Jays pitching as he hit a Grand Slam to win the ball game in Game 2 and hit another few home runs including the pitcher he was traded for in Bowden Francis.
The Blue Jays now will head out on the road for two series set against the Houston Astros and the New York Yankees where the Jays hope they can bounce back from a disappointing end to their home stand.
