The Toronto Blue Jays are done with Easton Lucas and he is no longer on the team

The Toronto Blue Jays announced quite the roster move this afternoon as they have decided to option pitcher Easton Lucas down to Triple-a.
Lucas had an awful game yesterday which most thought would end up in a roster move but manager John Schneider stated last night that they planned on keeping him but it looks like things changed after all.

The Blue Jays announced this afternoon that they have decided to optioned Lucas down to Triple-A after he gave up 7 hits and 6 earned runs against the Seattle Mariners yesterday.
To replace Lucas now that the Blue Jays still need a replacement in their starting rotation they have decided to bring up pitcher Josh Walker from the Buffalo Bisons in Triple-A.

This means Jays will have to figure out their 5th rotation spot vs. NYY this weekend. Maybe Paxton Schultz? Or maybe push front four SP a little harder here and skip 5th spot.

This now puts the Blue Jays in an interesting position as they are still without Max Scherzer for the foreseeable future and they need to find a replacement options if they don't want to wear out their main 4 pitchers.
