Jordan Romano gets into it with a reporter after another terrible performance
Romano came into the game for the Phillies against the Marlins and things went quite poorly as he lasted 0.2 innings while giving up 6 hits and 6 earned runs in that time before being pulled.
Currently in Philadelphia, Jordan Romano's nightmare continues:
0.2 IP | 6 H | 6 ER | 2 HR
He has a 15.26 ERA on the season.
After the game, Romano spoke to the media stating that despite the terrible perfomance, he felt like he was pitching well and getting good pitches out, it's just that they were hitting them.
Pretty candid postgame thoughts from Jordan Romano
Fans continue to get on Romano's back online as he was supposed to be a great closer for them and replace Jeff Hoffman but everything has fallen apart so far this season.
I NEVER EVER WANT TO SEE JORDAN ROMANO PITCH IN A PHILLIES UNIFORM AGAIN. YOU HAD A SEVEN RUN LEAD TO WORK WITH.
Jordan Romano should never throw another pitch for this team again.
Romano might not have much longer left in Philadelphia if he continues to pitch this way.
