Francis was a member of the Milwaukee Brewers as he was selected in the seventh round back in 2017 where he then was traded to the Blue Jays along with Trevor Richards in exchange 4 Blue Jays former first baseman Rowdy Tellez.

The Blue Jays have one game remaining against the Seattle Mariners after they lost 8-4 in Game 2. They will then head back out onto the road for two series against the Houston Astros and the New York Yankees.
