Scary moment takes place in Toronto Blue Jays game as Joey Loperfido leaves with a dangerous injury

The Toronto Blue Jays took on the St Louis Cardinals and a scary moment took place at the start of the game which resulted in a serious injury for Joey Loperfido.
Fans were excited for the game this afternoon as Max Scherzer was taking the mound for the first time as a Blue Jay and will be followed by Bowden Francis who missed his game yesterday due to cancellation.

In the first inning of today's game against the Cardinals, Blue Jays outfielder Joey Loperfido slammed into the outfield wall in an awkward way trying to track down a ball and left the game with an apparent neck/head injury.
The good news is that Loperfido left the game on his own two feet with the Blue Jays medical staff and manager John Schneider which is a necessity with an injury like this.

As Loperfido left the game, outfielder Steward Berroa took over his duties in the outfield.
