Cleveland Guardians owner has tragically passed away

The Cleveland Guardians announced yesterday night that their owner, Larry Dolan had tragically passed away at the age of 94.
Dolan purchased the Guardians in 2000 and his son Paul became the primary control person of the team in 2013 and the 2016 AL Pennant was the closest Dolan ever got to seeing the Guardians to being crowned champions.

The Guardians announced that late last night that Dolan passed away surrounded by his family but the cause has yet to be announced by his family.
The Cleveland Guardians are saddened to announce the passing of Lawrence Dolan, owner of the Cleveland Guardians.
Larry purchased the Cleveland Baseball Club on February 15, 2000, from Richard Jacobs. The 2025 season is the 26th year of ownership for the Dolan family, the longest and one of the most successful tenures in franchise history.
Larry was 94 years old.

His son Paul who is the primary control person of the organization as of right now released a statement to break the sad news yesterday, giving a touching tribute to his father.
"We are saddened by the loss of our Dad, but lucky to have him as part of our lives as long as we did," Paul said in a statement. "He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was passionate about his family, work, our community and his love of our local sports teams, including owning the Cleveland Guardians." -Dolan
Dolan is survived by his six children and an incredible 21 grandchildren as the carry on his legacy.
