Kikuchi discloses what Atkins told him prior to the trade deadline

The Blue Jays have made it clear they will be moving many players on expiring contract and it looks like Yusei Kikuchi is at the top of that list.
Kikuchi told reporters yesterday that he spoke with GM Ross Atkins regarding the deadline and was told their is a high likelihood that he will be moved before the deadline.
Yusei Kikuchi spoke with GM Ross Atkins a couple of days who, who told him there is a «pretty high likelihood» he will get traded.

Fans are upset that the Blue Jays will be moving on from Kikuchi as he has been a great pitcher for Toronto but hopefully the team will be able to get a solid return.
