It was announced on Saturday, that the Toronto Blue Jays will where their City Connect alternate uniforms throughout the 2025 season.

These uniforms were introduced last May and have been chosen to be worn on every home game on Friday going forward for the 2025 season. This schedule means that fans will get to wear it 13 times over the course of their 81-home game schedule.

Uniforms part of a promotional strategy and other event plans

Last season the uniforms were seen as night mode to which the Blue Jays are an integral part of their summer night life as Rogers centre is part of the downtown culture.
Night Mode activated, Toronto Blue Jays unveil their new "Pitch Blue" City Connect uniform featuring city skyline across the chest

«The Blue Jays are at the core of the city and those who call Toronto home know how the city comes alive at night. Our new City Connect uniform aims to emulate that 'Night Mode' feeling in the vibrant colours, the rhythmic skyline reflecting off the lake, and all the distinct details that make our city so dynamic,» said Marnie Starkman, the Blue Jays' executive vice president, business operations. «Toronto's City Connect uniform breaks from our beloved lineup of traditional uniforms and introduces a bold new fashion statement that captures the rhythm, culture, vibe and spirit of the city.» Marnie Starkman - May 31st 2024

It's clear these were a success which is why the Blue Jays have decided to bring them back for this season.
The organization had several announcements made including replica jersey giveaways which will be held on several days throughout the year which includes March 28th for Bo Bichette, May 2nd for Chris Bassitt, May 21st for George Springer, May 30th for Vladimir Guerrero junior June 30th for Andreas Gimenez and July 18th for Jose Berrios.

Promotions to be held for most of the season

The Blue Jays organization stated that many theme days and promotions will be held throughout the year including bobbleheads that will be given on two dates which is March 31st and July 23rd.
The team has had a cloud of scrutiny over the past several months as the organization attempted to sign several high-priced free agents but failed to do so.
There was some success in signing some free agents including Anthony Santander, Max Scherzer and Yimi Garcia along with trades that sees Jeff Hoffman, Andres Gimenez add to the lineup.
No matter the case, the Blue Jays are pushing through this scrutiny and preparing themselves for opening day wow preparing thru Grapefruit League as the Jays have gone 2-0 through two games thus far.
