The Blue Jays have been without relief pitcher Jordan Romano for the majority of the season as he continues to recover from an injury.
Romano has been shut down by the team for the rest of the season as he is still not ready to play but finally made an appearance last night as he was in the Blue Jays dugout during their game against the Cardinals for the first time since his injury.

Toronto's bullpen could definitely benefit from having Romano back in the lineup but when looking ahead to next season, it is better for the team if he recovers properly and is ready to start next season fully healed.
