Blue Jays pitcher Bowden Francis came one inning away from a no hitter against the Mets that was ruined by a Francisco Lindor Homerun in the 9th a few days ago.

On the broadcast last night, Buck Martinez said that Lindor apparently signed his homerun bat and sent it to Francis which fans have mixed emotions about. Some believe this was a sign on respect from the possible AL MVP while others thought this was an insult.
"You know we've said this a few times and talking to different people about it, I don't think we're being dramatic when we say this is one of the biggest turning points in franchise history coming up [this winter] with Shapiro's future along with Bo/Vladdy"

feels like a diss no?
Sign of respect or a diss?
One thing is for sure, this move can definitely be perceived in different ways but with Lindor's track record, it is likely he meant this to be a kind gesture.
