The Blue Jays took on the Cardinals yesterday in the first game of the series which had an electric finish as Toronto won 4-3.
Catcher Alejandro Kirk ended up receiving performer of the game after he had a walk off RBI that drove in Vladimir Guerrero for the win, Kirk also went 2 for 5 in the game with 2 RBIs.

While many had concerns for the Blue Jays when Danny Jansen was traded since they were not sure how Kirk would do taking on the #1 catcher role, he has taken full charge and has been playing incredibly.
