The Toronto Blue Jays are apparently still looking to a few moves this off-season and according to reports both Jurickson Profar and Max Scherzer should end up signing in Toronto.
The Blue Jays are apparently closing in on free agents Jurickson Profar and Max Scherzer
The Blue Jays top targets seems to be either Pete Alonso or Jurickson Profar with hope that if they land one of these two players they will be able to sign Max Scherzer as well.
Sources: #BlueJays are expected to land one of Alonso or Profar. Additionally lots of front office folks believe they'll bring in Scherzer on a one year deal. While potentially reuniting Estevez with Hoffman in the back end of their bullpen. #MoccBomb
While Toronto is not out on Alonso, a recent report suggested that the Blue Jays should be closing on Profar and Scherzer very shortly.
Well my people according to my sources Outfielder Jurickson Profar and Max Scherzer could be signing with the Toronto team
If the Blue Jays are able to add at least Profar or Alonso, either one of these players will make a massive difference when it comes to the Blue Jays offense next season.
The plan seems to be adding one of these powerful hitters then signing Scherzer who is looking to see some big moves from the Blue Jays before committing since he is looking to play for a winner.
While
Scherzer is not the pitcher he once was, he is still an incredible arm to have in the rotation and will be great to have around for young pitchers like Alek Manoah and Bowden Francis.
