Toronto Blue Jays Jeff Hoffman recently went on the Foul Territory podcast and took some shots at the Baltimore Orioles.
Hoffman was close to signing a deal with both the Atlanta Braves and Baltimore Orioles but the deals ended up falling through as they said he failed his physical due to shoulder issues.

Hoffman was on the Foul Territory podcast this morning talking about his upcoming first season back with the Blue Jays, the very team that drafted him years ago.

During the interview, Hoffman took a shot at the Orioles as he stated that he is excited to play them and adding that he loves the smoke clearly meaning that he uses all of this as fuel.

Clearly Hoffman was just kidding around as he said all of this while laughing but this is also not the first time that he mentions this meaning that he was not only kidding when saying all of this.
And while Hoffman said it playfully, it's clear that he's got some motivation and some chips on his shoulder heading into 2025. Hoffman actually came to an agreement with Baltimore this offseason, but the O's failed his physical and the deal fell through, so he signed with Toronto on a three-year pact worth $33 million guaranteed -Farkas
Well the Blue Jays first series of the season will be against the Orioles and since Hoffman seems to be the team's main closer this year, he won't have to wait long to get his chance against the Orioles.
